Why we love it…
A substantial oak jewelley box, with wonderfully ornate Art Nouveau style metal decorative hinges. The lid revels a rich cerise lining, with a velvet mirror inlaid lid and paper interior. There are two small areas of damage to the paper but the case is in excellent condition for its age. This piece is charming and a perfect vessel for a large jewelley collection: it would be well suited to storing beaded necklaces.
